Review summary

The Salendine is often praised for its excellent breakfast, with many guests enjoying every bite and appreciating the great offering included in the room price. Its location near a tram stop provides easy access to north and south beaches, with the central pier and various food options within a short walk. Room 5, in particular, is noted for its balcony, ample size for five people, hot shower, microwave, and flatscreen TV; while some have found the highest rooms can get cold during bad weather, many find the stay very enjoyable and would happily return. The delicious room biscuits also seem to be a recurring highlight!

a very pleasant experience

helpful staffspacious roomcomfortable balconytasty breakfast
John greeted me very kindly. He took my luggage, so i could enjoy my day. my room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony. the breakfast was tasty. Sammi told me about a family-friendly pub and a polar express movie night!
The car parking is nonexistent. It is on-street parking, and none of the cars moved all weekend. I parked far away
Dining

The breakfast was included. It was cooked fresh and tasty. i had cereals already set out upon arrival, nice. it was served in a dining room. It looked very tight.

The location is a short walk from the tram stop! the trams run up and down the sea front, so attractions are easily accessible. my room had a balcony. I was very pleased.
Location

it is near areas of interest. visiting the town, the beach, or either pier was a stroll away. the surrounding area was quiet enough for me to sleep well. there is a tram stop nearby.

mixed feelings about this stay.

small bathroomlimited space
The room was small, and there was barely space to move. the bathroom was also tiny. The shower was difficult to use because of the limited space i felt claustrophobic. i also did not like having to pre-order breakfast the night before. It felt a bit controlling.
